CVTARPTBL CONVERT ARP TABLE TAATCPK
The Convert ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) Table command creates an outfile of ARP table information for a specified line description. Address Resolution Protocol allows physically distinct networks to appear as if they were a single, logical network. The QtocLstPhyIfsARPTbl API is used. The outfile name is ARPTBLP. The model file is TAATCPKP with a format name of ARPTBLR. As of V6R1, there is no system display to obtain this information. A typical command would be: CVTARPTBL LINE(xxx) OUTLIB(yyy) The ARP table information would be written for the named line description and placed in the ARPTBLP file in the specified library. CVTARPTBL escape messages you can monitor for --------------------------------------------- None. Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent. CVTARPTBL Command parameters *CMD ---------------------------- LIND The line description to have its ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) information converted. OUTLIB The library to output the ARPTBLP file to. The default is *LIBL which may only be used if the ARPTBLP file may be found on the library list. If the file does not exist, a library must be named. OUTMBR The member to be written to. The default is ARPTBLP. REPLACE A *YES/*NO parameter for whether to replace the data in the outfile. The default is *YES. *NO may be specified to add to the existing data. Restrictions ------------ None.
