HLDALLOUTQ HOLD ALL OUTPUT QUEUES TAASPON

The Hold All Output Queues command holds all output queues in one or
more libraries using generated HLDOUTQ system commands. A single
output queue name, a generic name, or all output queues may be held.
An ACTION parameter allows either *CHECK or *HOLD. HLDALLOUTQ can
assist when a full or partial shutdown of the system is needed. You
must have both *ALLOBJ and *JOBCTL special authority to use
HLDALLOUTQ. See the companion tool RLSALLOUTQ.

 A typical command would be:

               HLDALLOUTQ OUTQ(*ALL/*ALL) ACTION(*HOLD)

All output queues on the system would be held. A spooled file would
 be displayed with the results.

TAA9893 No output queue objects exist.

Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.

 HLDALLOUTQ Command parameters *CMD
 -----------------------------

OUTQ The qualified name of the output queue(s) to be
held. A specific name, a generic name, or the
special value *ALL may be entered.

The library value defaults to *LIBL. A specific
library, *CURLIB, *USRLIBL, *ALL, or *ALLUSR may be
                  entered.

ACTION The action to be taken.

*CHECK is the default which does not cause any
changes. The listing describes what would have
happened if *HOLD had been specified.

*HOLD may be entered to hold the specified output
                  queues.

OUTPUT How to output the results. * is the default to
display the spooled file if the command is entered
interactively. The spooled file is deleted after it
                  is displayed.

If the command is entered in batch or *PRINT is
specified, the spooled file is output and retained.
