RTVLINASC RETRIEVE LINE DESCRIPTION ASYNC TAACFGT

The Retrieve Line Description ASYNC tool retrieves information about
an ASYNC line. Because many parameters exist, 2 commands are
provided (RTVLINASC and RTVLINASC2). This provides the current
information about the line. The QDCRLIND API is used to retrieve the
 data.

 A typical command would be:

              DCL &LINESPEED *DEC LEN(9 0)
               .
              RTVLINASC LINE(xxx) LINESPEED(&LINESPEED)

RTVLINASC escape messages you can monitor for
 ---------------------------------------------

TAA9891 The line is not a ASC type.

Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.

RTVLINASC2 escape messages you can monitor for
 ----------------------------------------------

TAA9891 The line is not a ASC type.

Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.
