WRKF2 WORK FILE 2 TAADBJY
The Work File 2 command provides a subfile with options to display the attributes, relations, format, and data of a file. These are the same options as on the DSPF2 command. In addition, there are options to change, edit, clear, and delete a file. A typical command would be: WRKF2 FILE(xxx*) All files with the generic name would be displayed. Some options cause a command prompt. If a CLR or DLT option is requested, a special prompt appears which must be answered *YES to complete the function. DLT cannot be used on a multi-member file. WRKF2 escape messages you can monitor for ----------------------------------------- None. Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent. Command parameters *CMD ------------------ FILE The qualified name of the file to be worked with. A generic name or *ALL may be entered. The library value defaults to *LIBL. *CURLIB, *ALL, or *ALLUSR may also be entered. Restrictions ------------ Only a single member file may be deleted.
