TAA Tools
Installing as a Non-QSECOFR
The initial installation of the TAA Productivity Tools must be done by
a user with both *ALLOBJ and *SECADM special authorities (such as
QSECOFR).

After the initial installation, the Security Officer can designate an
individual to do any future installations of the TAA Productivity
Tools. This can be useful for any re-installs or a new release of the
TAA Productivity Tools.

The user who will be responsible for the install needs to have *USE
authority to the TAAINSTALL authorization list and *SAVSYS special
authority.

The TAAINSTALL authorization list is shipped as *PUBLIC *EXCLUDE.

Installation

If the user has been authorized to the TAAINSTALL Authorization list
and has *SAVSYS special authority, he may use LODRUN as:

        LODRUN DEV(xxx)

where the device is typically OPT01 or OPTVRT01.

Other comments

The only use of the TAAINSTALL authorization list by the TAA
Productivity Tools is for the installation of the product. No other
tools reference the authorization list.

Special programs (TAATOLUx) are shipped in TAATOOL which adopt the
ownership of QSECOFR and are authorized to a valid user of the
TAAINSTALL authorization list.

The TAATOLUx programs do not cause any security exposures by existing
in TAATOOL. They cannot be used for any other purpose other than to
install the TAA Productivity Tools.
