DSPEMTSPC DISPLAY EMPTY USER SPACE TAASPCW

The Display Empty User Space command displays or lists one or more
User Space objects where the User Space contains only the initial
value described when CRTUSRSPC was used. An option exists to list
all User Space objects. DSPEMTSPC can be helpful in cleaning up
unused User Space objects.

You must have *ALLOBJ special authority to use a library value of
*ALL or *ALLUSR.

A typical command would be:

             DSPEMTSPC USRSPC(*ALL/*ALL)

All User Space objects in all libraries that are empty would be
displayed. When CRTUSRSPC is used, the INLVALUE parameter determines
what the User Space will be initialized to. The default is blanks.
The default is kept with the object and may be retrieved using
RTVUSRSPCA. If the entire User Space is filled with the initialized
value, the User Space is considered empty.

DSPEMTSPC escape messages you can monitor for

None. Escape messages from based on functions will be re-sent.

DSPEMTSPC Command parameters *CMD
----------------------------

USRSPC The qualified name of the User Space object to be
processed. A single User Space, a generic name, or
the special value *ALL may be entered.

The library value defaults to *LIBL. A specific
library, *CURLIB, *USRLIBL, *ALL, or *ALLUSR may be
                 entered.

ALLUSRSPC Whether to list all User Space objects regardless of
                 whether they are empty.

*NO is the default to list only User Space objects
                 that are empty.

*YES may be specified to list all User Space
                 objects.

OUTPUT How to output the results. * is the default to
display the spooled file if the command is entered
interactively. The spooled file is deleted after it
                 is displayed.

If the command is entered in batch or *PRINT is
specified, the spooled file is output and retained.
